Research in our group is devoted to the synthesis, characterization and biological application of supramolecular materials. Our aim is to solve challenging interdisciplinary problems in health by developing functional materials based on (bio)organic molecules and polymers that can respond to, detect or instruct biological matter.
Willem Noteborn succesfully defended his PhD thesis “Supramolecular polymer materials for biomedical applications and diagnostics” on December 11, 2017.
Victorio Saez Talens was awarded a best workshop presentation prize at the 2017 edition of the Dutch Polymer Days symposium in Lunteren, The Netherlands.
